# Contribution Point NFT

### DAPPs grow with the active contributions of early contributors, and it is very important to transparently manage and reward them accordingly.

Contributors contribute to the growth of the service in various ways, such as promoting the service, finding bugs hidden in various parts of the service, or directly helping to develop the service's features. One of the biggest differences between web2 services and DAPPs is that DAPPs are not created by a specific entity alone, but that anyone can freely contribute and help them grow.

However, the records of these contributions are often not managed transparently. **Many services use Google Spreadsheets** to record and manage past participants' activities. **This opaque contribution management and reward system reduces the incentives for contributors** to participate, and may even **adversely affect the reliability of the service** itself.

To solve this problem, services such as poap.xyz were created on the Ethereum mainnet. Using POAP, the protocol issues proof of contribution through on-chain to contributors who have contributed to the growth of the protocol, and rewards contributors according to the on-chain data. Similarly, contributors can check on-chain data to see if their contributions are being recorded correctly.

### The Pangea Swap team designed the Contribution Point NFT to transparently manage the details of the Pangea Swap contributors by referring to the structure of POAP and SBT (Soul Bound Token).

Contribution Point (CP) NFT has the following characteristics.

1. CP NFTs **can be earned by contributing to the growth of Pangea Swap**.
 * CP NFTs can be obtained through various methods such as event participation and community activities.
2. **One wallet can only own one CP NFT**, and is **non-transferable**.
 * A CP NFT is minted and given at the time of the first contribution by each wallet address, and CP is added to the CP NFT held when additional contributions are made thereafter.
 * Even if you list it on Opensea, it is not possible to actually sell it.
3. **Through on-chain data, you can transparently check how much CP was obtained through which contribution**.
 * Anyone who does not know Smart Contract can easily check it at the following OpenSea Collection: <https://opensea.io/collection/pangeaswap-cp>
4. The CP obtained through contribution **can be used to obtain STONE rewards** when the Pangea Swap governance token STONE is launched.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pangeaswap.gitbook.io/pangeaswap/en/governance/contribution-point-nft.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
